IVA Ladies Volleyball: 14-Mixed Tournament

On Sunday, March 7, 2010… Infinity Volleyball Academy hosted its second tournament of the 2010 season — a “14-Mixed” event featuring teams from the surrounding area. For this tournament, we’ve posted 188 action images in our online proofing galleries located at www.david-nicholas.net, and we’ve also created a special multi-media Webshow here for the ladies and their families. Lots of great IVA action images and candids — including some of their competitors as well. Congratulations to the IVA ladies on Team 14 Blue for placing 2nd in the tournament!

IVA Ladies Volleyball: Super Spike 18 Tournament

Infinity Volleyball Academy hosted its first 2010 tournament event last Sunday at PSC Highpoint in Chalfont, and we captured a great day of intense volleyball competition among 18U and 17U club teams, including those from Synergy, X-Court, Mystique, and Allegro.   Complete photo coverage will be posted soon in our online proofing galleries.  Meanwhile, we’ve included 30 images right here in a Lightbox Gallery highlighting competitive moments and fun times from Sunday’s tournament:

Infinity Volleyball Academy Pre-Season, “Signing Day” Portraits

David Nicholas Photography & Design proudly announces that we’ll be the official photography studio for Infinity Volleyball Academy of Chalfont, PA — bringing Ladies Volleyball athletes and fans world-class images from select tournaments hosted by the organization in 2010.  Professional studio portraits captured during IVA’s Signing Day festivities have been posted in the online proofing section of our website and will also become an integral part of www.infinityvolleyball.com.

In addition to our standard print offerings, we’re also introducing four distinctive poster styles for Infinity Volleyball Academy members and their families as a “sneak preview” of new poster designs we’ll be offering in 2010.  Parents interested in ordering a 12×18, 16×24 or 20×30 poster should contact the studio to discuss a variety of options, as well as to indicate their preference of poster styles from those highlighted below:

C.B. East Volleyball: Lady Patriots Edge Out Rival C.B. West in 5 Games

Both teams were in prime form Tuesday evening for the second of this year’s two ladies volleyball match-ups between arch-rivals C.B. East and C.B. West. Whereas the first match-up hosted by C.B. East earlier this season went to the Lady Patriots in just 3 games, Tuesday’s contest at C.B. West High School required all 5 games to determine a winner. In the end, it was the victorious Lady Patriots who were able to breathe a bit easier after Game 5’s exciting 15-11 score.

Our photography coverage for this match captures not only game-time action, but also some of the intense emotion throughout the evening… truly an enjoyable sport to photograph when the match-ups are as competitive as the East/West contest proved to be.

Tonight (Thursday), the Lady Patriots wrap up their “regular season” schedule with a “Senior Night” match at home against rival C.B. South, when they hope to avenge this year’s earlier “away” loss to the Lady Titans. Volleyball fans, stay tuned!

C.B. East Volleyball: Lady Titans Top Lady Patriots 3-1

Tuesday evening’s competition pitting the Lady Patriots of C.B. East against the Lady Titans of C.B. South had all the great enthusiasm that you’d expect between two talented cross-town rivals. But after 4 games, the Lady Titans claimed victory over the Lady Patriots 3-1 in a match played at C.B. South High School. Now midway through the “regular season”, The Lady Patriots are 5-4 overall and they won’t see the Lady Titans again until both teams conclude their “regular season” schedule with a rematch at C.B. East later this month.
