It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!!!

In more ways than one, it’s been looking a LOT like Christmas here in our studio offices, as we’ve been feverishly busy fulfilling orders for Christmas delivery!  And this past weekend, Mother Nature joined the program too with a pre-Christmas blizzard followed by a forecast of continued cold temperatures that promise to give us a White Christmas this year — just like the kind that re-awaken wonderful, childhood memories of this festive Holiday.

Naturally, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to capture a “winter portrait” of our now 30-month old black lab, Zuke, in the snow.  But understandably, all good things take time.

[caption id="attachment_1452" align="aligncenter" width="600" caption="Of course... before getting down to serious portrait business, Zuke needs some fun time to romp in the freshly fallen snow!"]Of course, before getting down to serious business, Zuke needed some time to have fun in the snow![/caption]

We here at David Nicholas Photography & Design want to take this moment to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year!!!  A big heartfelt “Thank You!” goes out to all our clients for helping make 2009 an exciting year for us.  We hope everyone has enjoyed our world of image-making, as much as we’ve enjoyed bringing great images to you.  Watch this space closely — and frequently — for more exciting offerings in 2010!

Central Bucks H.S. Football: Patriots Top Titans 35-21 for Season Finale

Our Varsity football coverage came to a close Friday evening as both of our client schools C.B. East and C.B. South battled out their last game of the 2009 season — with the Patriots ultimately grabbing a 35-21 win over the Titans. Both teams had already won their football match-ups against the Bucks of C.B. West earlier in the season. So the Patriots’ victory over the Titans on Friday earned C.B. East “top Central Bucks football honors” this year.  Additionally, the Patriots’ win also capped off a festive evening of C.B. East  Senior Night recognition.

Both teams’ online photo galleries have been updated with complete game highlights from Friday evening, and the Patriots gallery also includes photo highlights of the senior night festivities for football team members, cheerleaders and the marching band.

In addition, here are 15 captioned images comprising this week’s photo storyline of the game. Enjoy!!!

It’s been a pleasure providing photography coverage for both C.B. East and C.B South football teams during the 2009 season, and we send out our best wishes to those seniors who played, cheered or marched in their last High School football game on Friday evening.  These are special times, and we ultimately hope that we’ve captured some truly special memories with our world-class images.  Please contact the studio at any time for all inquiries, including this year’s special series of newly designed personal sports yearbooks.  We’re also raising the bar (again) with some great new designs for our one-of-a-kind custom poster montages — now offered on canvas as well as archival prints framed behind glass.  As always, a huge heartfelt “THANK YOU” goes out to the parent clubs, families and athletic organizations of C.B. East and C.B. South for allowing us to be a special part of their world!

CBS Titans Football: Titans Route Rams for 42-32 Senior Night Victory

The C.B. South football engine was in high gear against Pennridge as the Titans came through for a series of big plays and a final 42-32 score over the Rams. Thankfully, Mother Nature also cooperated — giving football fans a great evening weather wise for the Titan’s “Senior Night” festivities that also coincided with C.B. South’s “Coaches vs. Cancer” breast cancer awareness night. Our photography coverage for the game includes a 15-image captioned storyline, followed by a fast-paced 190-image Webshow. In addition 300+ game  images — including senior night family photographs of football and cheer seniors — have been added to the C.B. South Football 2009 Season photo gallery.  Enjoy!!!

This week’s WebShow production features 190 game-time images set to fast-paced music… so turn up the volume and enjoy! Don’t blink though!!!

In addition, if you missed an image in our WebShow, don’t forget to check out the C.B. South Football 2009 Season photo gallery where we’ve added 340 images from Friday evening’s football game — including senior night festivities! Although at times it seems football season just started, next Friday’s game will conclude our “regular season” Varsity Football coverage with the third of this year’s 3 Central Bucks School District football rivalries: C.B. East vs. C.B. South. So yes, we’ll be doing “double duty” on Friday — providing world-class images for both our client schools, when C.B. East hosts C.B. South at War Memorial Field. Until then, have a great week everyone!!!
