C.B. South Varsity Football: Titans Overpower Hatters to a 51-33 Victory

Part 1 of our back-to-back football coverage last weekend for both C.B. South and C.B. East actually began with Friday evening’s C.B. South vs. Hatboro-Horsham game at Titan Stadium. It was a great Autumn evening for football, and both teams were heavy on offensive maneuvers resulting in a 51-33 final score in favor of the Titans. Our HD WebShow features 50+ images from Friday’s game. Enjoy!!!

As always, the alternate WebShow in a smaller-sized video window can be viewed by clicking this link, and a complete set of game images will be posted to the C.B. South Football 2010 Season online photo gallery. Enjoy!!!

C.B. East Varsity Football: Patriots Pound Panthers 40-6

In a rare Saturday afternoon game for C.B. East’s varsity football schedule, the Patriots came up on the winning end in a big way against the Quakertown Panthers — with a final score of 40-6 at War Memorial Field.

Saturday afternoon games give us a chance to expand on our regular Friday evening football photography coverage, since we’re able to photograph FROM the end-zone angle — something we don’t do too often at most high school football venues on Friday evenings due to marginal lighting conditions. So this week’s HD WebShow is produced with a slightly broader combination of coverage angles, and many images have also been treated with our special “sports billboard effect” — reminiscent of a frosty textured, retro-style look of decades gone by. Enjoy!!!

As always, for visitors viewing our blog on a lower-speed broadband Internet connection, an alternate version of the WebShow in a smaller-sized video window can viewed by clicking this link.

Additionally, the images used in our WebShow production this week — along with many images from the wonderful half-time performance by the C.B. East Marching Patriots — can be viewed one by one at your own pace in the C.B. East Football 2010 Season photo gallery located in the online proofing section of our website!

C.B. East Varsity Football: Bucks Edge Patriots 13-12

To quote Mark Twain, “The rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated.” And such was the case for the area’s big “East vs West” football rivalry, which understandably has changed in recent years following the opening of C.B. South High School in the 2004-2005 school year. Changed? Yes. Dead? Far from it. And that couldn’t have been any clearer as the often emotionally charged, arch-rivalry hit full force Friday evening to a packed audience at War Memorial Field — from the opening kick-off all the way to the Patriot’s last attempted scoring drive as the game’s precious final seconds ticked off the clock, resulting in a 13-12 score in favor of the Bucks.

Our multimedia HD WebShow this week features 100 of our favorite images as seen from the Central Bucks East side of the field. Enjoy, Patriots fans!!!

An alternate WebShow for visitors on a slower broadband Internet connection can be viewed by clicking this link.

Additionally, the images featured in the WebShow — along with a few other images as well — will be posted in the C.B. East Football 2010 Season photo gallery.

Next weekend, our schedule allows for back-to-back Central Bucks football coverage as we photograph C.B. South’s game on Friday night when the Titans host the Hatters at Titan Stadium, and then C.B. East’s game on Saturday afternoon when the Patriots host the Panthers at War Memorial Field.

C.B. South JV Football: Titans Blank Panthers with 4 TD’s

Let their be light!!! Yes… after photographing Friday evening’s varsity football game at Quakertown’s Alumni Field — where extremely dim lighting conditions (even by yesteryear’s standards) are a photographer’s nightmare — it was a pleasure photographing the JV game in… well, DAYLIGHT!!!

The JV squad works hard alongside their Varsity teammates — and a few members play in both Varsity and JV games each week. So we thought we’d feature our favorite images from Monday afternoon’s game in one of our multi-media HD WebShows for the JV squad and their families to enjoy!

Visitors on a slower-speed, broadband Internet connection wishing to view the WebShow in a less resource-intensive, smaller-sized video window can do so by clicking this link. In addition, photos from Monday’s JV game will be posted in the C.B. South Football 2010 Season photo gallery in the section entitled “Quakertown JV”.

C.B. South Varsity Football: Panthers Outscore Titans 41-34 in a Game of Offensive Wit

The Titans traveled to Quakertown’s Alumni Field last Friday evening, and came up one TD shy of forcing an overtime period as the game clock hit 0:00. Up until the nail-biting finish, the lead switched back and forth between the Titans and Panthers in a contest marked by a seemingly endless exchange of offensive maneuvers.

This week’s widescreen-format WebShow, set to the urban sounds of today’s hip-hop music, highlights 50 of our favorite images of the evening — including sepia-toned images from a sultry and sassy halftime performance by Quakertown’s marching band and color guard paying tribute to the Copacabanna feather-costumed showgirl era circa 1940. Enjoy!!!

As always, visitors wishing to view the WebShow in a less resource-intensive, smaller-sized video window can do so by clicking this link. In addition, these images and many more will be posted soon to the Titan’s C.B. South Football 2010 Season photo gallery.

Next week, we rejoin the Patriots of C.B. East for this year’s C.B. East vs. C.B. West football rivalry at War Memorial Field. Stay tuned for more of the area’s finest football photography coverage blending peak-action game images with sports portraiture and state-of-the-art video productions — enabling families and fans to re-live their favorite moments of the game in grand style… only at www.david-nicholas.com!
