C.B. East Football: Strong 2nd Half Performance Gives Patriots 23-6 Win Over Cross-Town Rival Bucks!

East/West Varsity Football games have an excitement and energy-level that are simply in a league of their own. And last Friday evening’s football game under the lights at War Memorial Field in Doylestown was no exception to tradition — living up to the expectations of an enthusiastic crowd and then some. The Bucks took a tight 6-5 lead into half-time, but the Patriots controlled the scoreboard with a strong second half performance to secure a victory over their cross-town rival with a final score of 23-6.

C.B. East Girls Soccer: Lady Patriots Top Lady Bucks 2-1 in High-Energy Rivalry Contest

Earlier this week, we connected with a high-energy, rivalry soccer match under the lights at War Memorial Field where the Lady Bucks hosted the Lady Patriots. C.B. East Football: Patriots Edge Indians in 37-36 Thriller!

Last Friday evening’s C.B. East vs. Souderton Varsity Football contest may have been the Patriot’s most exciting 2016 game thus far. All the seconds on the clock — and then some — were needed to determine the final winner. Amidst a sea of confusion surrounding the last 0.6 seconds of the game — which remained suspended in limbo at least 3 times, the Patriots held on to a 37-36 lead giving C.B. East a Friday night victory as well as a 5-1 overall record to date this season.
