C.B. East Varsity Football: Skins Top Patriots 35-12

From a “game stats” point of view, the Patriots held their own against Neshaminy. However, at the end of the evening, the scoreboard told a very different story for the Patriots, as the Skins cashed in when it counted most — handing the Patriots a 35-12 loss on their home turf. Our HD WebShow captures lots of great Patriots football action though… so sit back and enjoy the highlights!

As always, images featured in the WebShow (along with many others) have also been posted to the C.B. East Varsity Football 2011 Season online photo gallery, where visitors can view images individually at their own pace.

Patriots fans, stay tuned for more great football coverage this weekend, as the Patriots host the Hatters at War Memorial Field for a Saturday afternoon contest!

PIAA District One Softball Post-Season: Top Teams Make For Tough, Competitive Contests

Following the Memorial Day Weekend, our schedule gave us the opportunity to bring our world of professional image-making to the Pennsbury, Neshaminy and Hatboro-Horsham high school communities as this year’s District One “post-season” ladies softball tournament wound to a close. First up was one of Tuesday’s semi-final games in which Pennsbury battled out their 3rd win (in as many outings this season) over their perennial conference foe Neshaminy by a score of 5-2 in searing 93-degree temps on the field. Our photography coverage of the game is being presented here in a WebShow of still-images set to high energy music, so softball fans can re-live highlights of the game — David-Nicholas style! Adjust the volume of your audio, and click on the “play” icon in the video window below for a special collection of our favorite images from the game. Enjoy!!!

After capturing semi-final action on Tuesday, it seemed only natural to follow the district’s #1 (Pennsbury) and #2 (Hatboro-Horsham) seeds into the 2011 District One Final on Thursday, June 2nd at North Penn High School. As expected, the contest lived up to the excitement you’d expect when the tournament’s two top-seeded teams do battle. And in this case, Hatboro-Horsham broke through a 5-5 tie to take this year’s District One softball trophy with an 8-5 win over Pennsbury. The contest made for some great moments that we’re especially happy to present in another “David-Nicholas” WebShow for softball fans. Enjoy!!!

Capturing these images is something we do as part of our profession, and we endeavor to present the most special images in a way that evokes emotion and tells a story. Along the way, we can’t help but make an observation that almost seems too obvious, but we’ll say it anyway — namely, once you’re looking at the top teams in a tournament, there’s just such an indisputable amount of raw talent on display as teams progress through the bracket, its nearly impossible to not notice! Sure… nerves can be rattled, and lots of lessons are there for the learning as competition becomes more intense. But all in all, these young athletes deliver tremendously well under particularly tough conditions. And we wish all the top District One teams much success in the upcoming PIAA State Tournaments that are currently underway or (as in the case of softball) those that will begin the week of June 6th. Best of luck, everyone!!!

Special note to softball families who are new to our website… All the images in our WebShows are also posted to our professional photography online proofing galleries, so visitors can view images one-by-one at their own pace. Each image has been mastered to the highest professional standards. And if you see an image that captures your emotions, keep in mind that our high-resolution camera files make for extremely impressive wall-prints, personal yearbook albums and poster montages. Even the WebShows featured here can be ordered in DVD-format for viewing on your large, wide-screen display in the home. There truly is no better way to hold on to special memories of very special times than with a David-Nicholas original creation. We’re passionate about capturing special moments for you, and we hope you’ll be truly impressed with the results we deliver each and every day. Let us know what you think!

PIAA District One Football: North Penn Takes Care of Business Quickly Over Neshaminy for District One 2010 Title

Elvis Presley fans may remember that the King’s entourage and closest circle of friends often wore jackets and hats featuring the emblem of a lightning bolt through the letters TCB. And the North Penn Knights may very well want to consider a variation on that theme as part of an enhanced team logo going forward. TCB or “Taking Care of Business” is exactly what the Knights did Friday evening — methodically, effectively, and efficiently — as North Penn claimed the 2010 PIAA Class-AAAA District One Football Title in a 42-6 route over another District One perennial powerhouse team, Neshaminy.

Our HD WebShow features 100 game-time images from both teams set to one of our favorite high-energy music tracks for football. Simply turn up the volume (but not too much if you’re at work!!!) and relive special moments from Friday evening’s game… David-Nicholas style! The HD content will require a fairly robust, broadband Internet connection. For maximum impact on the Web, we highly recommend viewing in the larger-size video window below by clicking on the “play” icon inside the window. Enjoy!!!

Should you encounter delays viewing the above video, we suggest viewing in a smaller, less resource-intensive version of the show by clicking this link.

We’ve also posted images from the WebShow — as well as a few other game-time images also — in our online image galleries, located in the PIAA Post-Season 2010 Football category, so visitors can view images at their own pace.

Congratulations to the Knights, as they now advance into the portion of the PIAA 2010 Post-Season Football Bracket, where remaining contests will pit district champions against each other. North Penn is now scheduled to take on familiar foe — and District 12 champion — La Salle College next Saturday afternoon at Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School’s Colonial Stadium (at 1PM) in one of the state tournament’s semifinal games. The other semifinal game pits Cumberland Valley (District 3 champion) against North Allegheny (District 7 champion) in the western portion of the state in Altoona. At stake next Saturday afternoon are berths in the State Final, scheduled to be held the following Saturday, December 18th, at Hersheypark Stadium currently slated for a 5PM match-up.
